Injectable Therapies

Vitamin Injections are given intramuscularly (IM) and can include magnesium, and vitamins B12 (high and low dose), B5, B6, and B-complex. Vitamin injections can be helpful to correct deficiencies, and improve symptoms of fatigue, depression, stress, headaches, and PMS. These are generally quick treatments, and can be booked as a stand-alone treatment, or can be administered during a regular visit.


Prolotherapy is a type of injection therapy uses different concentrations of dextrose. This is used in order to stimulate a healing cascade in a local area, which involves three phases: inflammation, regeneration, and remodeling. Prolotherapy is mainly used to treat ligaments, tendons, and cartilage. It helps to strengthen damaged structures, and aids in rebuilding tissues to improve strength.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is another form of an injectable therapy. Platelets are part of the blood plasma, and are used by the body to release growth factors to assist with physiological healing processes. Platelets are concentrated using a centrifuge, and then are injected at the site of injury, in order to regenerate injured tissues.
